Sydney is a thoughtful and dedicated designer who helps busy couples create beautiful homes that better support their lifestyle and needs.

Her design approach begins with understanding the people who live there. Sydney draws inspiration from her clients’ routines, interests and personalities to create homes that feel beautiful and unique to the people living there. A couple’s treasured collection might become a focal point, a favorite hobby could inspire an entire room, and life with pets influences layout and materials.

Sydney’s love for design grew while renovating and furnishing her own home in Joshua Tree. What began as a builder grade house lacking warmth and character became a charming, collected home inspired by its striking High Desert surroundings. She loved every part of the process, from selecting flooring and paint colors to sourcing furniture and bringing the final details together. Even after the home was complete, she continued studying interiors, exploring new design concepts and imagining how she could bring that same sense of home to other families. That experience ultimately inspired her to start Sydney Rose Design.
